LOL at DSC: If you guys need nannies to drive an M3 well you should sell them and get something slower.....IMO anybody should master how to drive a car with no nannies that's why most racers start out with a no frills spec Miata and move higher up the latter. I will get flame but I don't give a damn.

I personally always have control over the machine not the other way around WTF is that? You guys trust sensors and computers? In some situations oversteer can save you...DSC won't allow you to do it...it will kill the power.

What the hell are some guys talking about? I've never came close to do a 360 on the hwy in a bimmer nor Viper, Vette etc...some people are exagerating, shitty drivers or are doing major stunts like drifting on public roads.

(My flame suit is on)

Garage List
That's $30k in damage if not more.

Looks like he's going to need a front and a rear suspension, body work, airbags and some work on the inside. That could be an easy $20k in parts alone.

Look at that rear wheel - 50% of the rear suspension is gone, they'll replace everything on this car.

Scammer? I read 60% of the thread but if the OP is a scammer or some shady scumbag, got what he deserved.

We'd all like to say we are good drivers, but only a fraction of the people on here can control their car at the limit. Also, shit happens. Sometimes we just want to lay back and take advantage of the electronics BMW gave us. It is also a safety net. I've hit some wet patches in my crappy Celica and wished I had DSC to help me out

It would appear KAL is MIA

Assuming this screwjob is as deliberate as it appears on the surface...some measure of justice has been delivered (not nearly enough IMHO).

Where's KAL these days defending his "good" name?
