Addition to the family!

Hello all,
new addition to the BMW family. Just got US Spec 2011 X5 35i Sport Activity for my wife. Car was delivered brand new through Pentagon Car Sales in Germany. Right before the delivery it was treated with the Crystal Rock (SwissVax). The detail was completed by a professional SwissVax detailer Dennis Weber in Kaiserslautern. He did an awesome job! And big thanks to Pentagon Car Sales and David Baker!!! For those of us stationed overseas military sales are a great benefit! Great savings!

2011 X5 35i Sport Activity, Black Saphire, Oyster Leather, Bamboo trim, ZCV, ZTP, running boards, 3rd row seat, heated seats.

Gorgeous. Didn't know that a 3rd row seat is an option on the X5. Non-US only?

U.S version gets it as well.

Great choice and I am really loving that color combo and wheels!

Leave it to BMW to make a SUV look aggressive straight from the factory.

Gotta love the inerior! Almost looks like Platinum Silver. Bamboo on the M3 is much much darker and more beige.

Sweet ride. I am jealous. Our "SUV" is a 2004 Honda Element that has been 3 accidents and has over 100K miles. At least the engine and transmission are solid.

In the first crash, a second trailer of an 18 wheeler clipped the back of the Element and smashed the rear and the rear quarter panel.

In the second crash, someone rear ended my wife on the freeway

In the third crash, our au pair lost control in the rain and hit a guard rail.

I appreciate all the comments. It is a blast to drive, not like the M3 that is. That 3.0 turbo engine is still pretty fast for such heavy vehicle.
