The killer B's
Pau lookin to be an early MVP canidate
Odom still high from the fiba experience
Artest lost some weight playing great on both ends
Kobe obviously not 100% clearly can tell by his defensive lateral movement.
Fish just being fish at the end of games
Trade sasha n luke for some size down low (celtics are pretty stacked down there)

I have been closely following NBA for 22 years. I am not fan of any team. I am just a huge basketball fan. I only miss a few games during regular season and never miss a playoff game.

Every time I read a post in a blog/forum I see people comparing Kobe to MJ. If you are one of them you qualify AT LEAST one of the followings:

1 - You have never seen MJ playing
2 - You saw MJ playing but you forgot about it since you suffered memory loss for some reason
3 - You don't know anything about basketball
4 - You are idiot/stupid/moron

Kobe is certainly one of the 3 top players in the league along with L. James, D. Wade. Kobe was far from being considered a great player until 3 years ago when he finally decided to be team player. And he won 2 titles as he deserved. I wish he did this 6-7 years ago. Because as he become a team player his abilities stated diminishing result of his age and high mileage on his knees.

BUT PLEASE STOP SAYING THAT HE COULD BE COMPARED TO MJ IF HE WINS ANOTHER TITLE. Not even close. MJ is M3, Kobe is 335i without a chip.

this is the only good post so far. our bench is our biggest asset this season. we were quiet during the off season, and our pick-ups are easily the most under-rated in the league. i feel like were missing another (good) big in the rotation, which we need. once andrew is back, hopefully that won't be an issue. having odom in rotation with fresh legs will be huge this year. let's just hope andrew stays healthy. although we've started out strong, i think mid-season will really show what teams are going to have a shot at a title

This. It parallels with the comparisons of Crybaby Crosby with Wayne Gretzky. MJ did for the sport what Kobe could never do, and on top of it, he didn't get caught in shameful shenanigans off the court.

Kobe may be the best player in basketball, but to compare him to MJ is pretty ignorant unless the end result of your comparison is that MJ is on a whole different level.

wow, apparently phil is contemplating sending ebanks and caracter to d-league to 'gain more experience'. i'd much rather send sasha and luke lol. as it stands, the two rookies have contributed more than luke or sasha - granted i think they've played a bit more, but last night the 'seasoned players' still looked fucking horrible. keep the rookies imo

Second rate sport is Baseball. NBA is getting better every year while MLB is going down the drain.

Truth is this, I grew up watching the Knicks. I looked forward to going to games with my dad and got to see some of the greatest players of that era. It really is one of the fondest memories of my childhood. The last decade has been so horrible that it became impossible to be a Knick fan.
