Was good fun. A good 30 min on the track, in an E90 dct comp pckg biggest smile on my face was getting back in my lightly modded m3, wasn't overly impressed with the zcp, but wheels do look great in person

+1

Only thing I dislike about ACC is the fact I want to go every weekend now. LOL

Is the DC event a track event or a 30min drive on a predetermined route?

i'm in for the DC event on Sunday at 11 am! But it looks like DC will only be a street drive. There are no tracks in this area. If you really want a track, see if there's an event in the Mid-Atlantic area in Philly or Baltimore and let me know, I'll be tempted to switch.

I called the number that I saw in the previous post and told them I picked up my M a few weeks ago. She said you needed an invite to attend, but would talk to her supervisor. I told them where I purchased the car and she called me back a few hours later with a reservation. I will be there at 4pm on Sunday the 17th in Katonah, Westchester.

I went to this event 2 years ago or so in Westchester, and it was awesome! Beautiful Mansion, with all of BMW Motorsport cars, all other M cars on display to check out and sit in, a lecture by BMW M representative, coffee, food, gifts and ofcourse 30 minute drive in M3!!!

... and this time around, I was able to register and will be going again this Sunday 24th in LI...

... don't miss this one out, try to get in and make a nice time out of it!

I went this past Saturday and got a black "M" logo baseball cap with "M Power Tour" embroidered on the back. When I went last year, they gave out black aluminum "M" logo water bottles.

talladega driving experience

I did a racing experience at Michigan International Speedway a few years back with the Petty School, and it was much more different than you can imagine as far as the feeling of speed in a race car vs a normal car.

Went yesterday in DC Metro area..test drove x6m..even though i signed up for the m3..very nice event..predeterimed route...

to all the m owners out there...you all own imho a truly fine piece of machinery! m power by bmw has moved to the top of my list in terms of refinement, driveability, comfort, and PERFORMANCE for the money. After I got back in my e86, i was wishing it was an M and not the 3.0si...

shaka!
