I wanted to maintain the outside diameter of the factory wheel/tire combo. 275/30 would have been smaller than OEM, and would have caused the speedometer to be off, created a bigger gap between the tire and the fender, and made for a harsher ride.

Thanks. The jury's still out on the splitters for me. I probably wont get them unless I see them in person and am blown away. I am considering the BMW Performance CF mirror caps, though.

I didn't upgrade the EDC -- I'm fairly certain there's no way to do that.

Got it. The pic showing the LCI tail coding threw me for a sec.

You did such a thorough job on the conversion I figured you also had this done somehow.

Is the edc system controlled or run through the DME? If so, maybe you could eventually swap yours with one from a "junked" '11?
