can anyone tell me the size of the ///M logo on the headrest of the e92 m3?
i need the width and height. thanks!

If I remember I'll try to get a measurement tonight when I get home. Unless somebody else beats me to it.

If you're thinking about coloring in the stripes and "M" then I've seen it done before using colored tape. I didn't care much for that. If it were thread or leather or something else similar to that then it might look ok, IDK. Good luck.

im planing to get the same look on the leather as the original. no tapes or stitching involved. will be making a klishe like this one http://www.sati-x.ru/images/tisnenie/klishe.jpg and using special kind of acid and heat it should leave the same mark. anyway.. i just need the correct size and the positioning so i can get it as best i can. of course ill inform you guys after its done how it looks.

I've seen the tape on an E46 M3. It didn't stick very well especially if you use the head rest as say.......a head rest. I remember seeing it done in colored thread and it looked incredible.

Length (measured at the bottom of the logo) 2-1/4"

sorry, no metric ruler available.

I measured mine with calipers.

56.13 x 19.31 mm.

thank you very much guys! this is the exact same size as on the M door sills. i used 65x23mm. its a bit bigger but i think it will be ok.
