Damn guys, lay off of him....on other threads, when people wrap their interiors and stuff, generally speaking, the threads are lit up with "oohs" and "aaahs". Its a good option when the parts that he wants to wrap don't exist in CF, and he wants to continue a theme. Like people who do matte CF wrap to match their interior leather CF trim-that's not real CF either, but you don't hear anyone knocking on that.
OP, 3M DiNoc (only film that site sells according to them) is generally considered by the community as a very good, quality, and durable, if somewhat difficult to apply vinyl. I hope this answers your question. Edit: Quote:

I wasn't trying to be a wise guy or be critical.
For $8.00 for the sample size how can you go wrong? It looks good in the pics but nothing like seeing it in person. It will also help determine how difficult it will be to install and how it matches yp with the carbon leather. CA

Damn, I thought it was a movie about carbon fiber! I just got a 15 MBP and I like the idea of covering it with something.

I have a CF leather case for my 15" MBP from case-mate. I'm pretty sure they offered one for a 17" too. Unfortunately, they don't make them anymore. But the one I have is real leather in a CF weave. If you can find something like this I highly recommend it.
I don't know anything about the 3M CF dinoc vinyl that is being sold from that web link but I've heard others say good things about it. Good luck.
