In real life, MW is more shiny and has silver reflects. You really can see the difference when the sun shines.

nice car and comparison shots!

The Mineral White still looks very similar to the Alpine White. I'm sure in brighter lighting it will look much mure shiny.

U have to see it in the sunlight mineral doesn't look too different in indoor lighting.
Almost looks like a Macbook Pro color in real life

hedonite, i know you are getting your bmw out of the dealership tomorrow. maybe when you have it out in the sunlight, park it by another alpine white 3 series. it can't be too hard to find one out there. that will give us the best side by side comparison. the indoor lighting makes the two colors look practically identical.

finally! Someone with a decent camera and a MW M3. Shoot that thing until you run out of bits :-) This seems to confirm that it's not a pearly, creamy, lexus style metallic white, but a subtle sheen. I concur on the sunlight photos, though.

I got to see both colors in person today. An m3 in Alpine white and a 7 series in Mineral white. I thought I would love the mineral white but honestly I didnt. Alpine white is a much cleaner brighter white..Like fresh snow on a field in Russia. Mineral white had a tint of grey/silver (obviously because of the metallic flake) that I just didnt like. It made it look dirty and muddled. Kind of like Snow in the city of Chicago.
