Eisenmann Race or Gintani Sport

I've narrowed my choice down to these two exhaust systems. Based on what I've read and heard it seems like the sound of these two systems are in the same neighborhood. I haven't heard either system in person so I suppose it's tough to truly judge based on Youtube clips on my laptop.

Aesthetically, the two systems are different. The Eisenmann is classy looking and has the angled tips which I'm partial to. The Gintani on the other hand is just mean and has more of a "modified" look to it. I'd love to see angled tips on the Gintani. That just might seal the deal.

One of the biggest differences seems to be the price. I'm not sure what the street price on either system but with the addition of the connecting pipes the Eisenmann is another $1k or more I'm guessing based on the MSRP. The Gintani really seems to be one of the best bargains in the market.

I'm sure most of it will just come down to personal opinion and budget but I figured I'd ask for feedback. Hopefully someone has seen and compared both. Maybe there's something I'm missing.

It's just personal preference.

Eisenmann all the way, no question about it. The Craftsmanship alone should push you toward the Eisenmann.

check out the gintani dual walled tips, even better looking than the eisenmann tips. Both sound great...gintani's weighs much less...ive heard the eisenmann weighs more than stock. Eisenmann has great build quality, but the Gintani is just as good.

Thanks for the input, guys. If the Gintani dual walled tips were angled, that would be my choice. I like the standard tips a little better since they're not.

The Eisenmann is definitely my choice if they were the same price but the Gintani is such a good deal. We'll see.

There is one thing that I always get complimented on...the sound of my car.
I bought the Eisenmann race black series and the car sounds like a beast!
However, I was not too thrilled for the first two months. I really questioned my decision on the purchased and was ready to cut the thing off. It was too loud and the drone was irritating.
I was told to be patient and get through the break in period...and sure enough, I absolutely love the sound of my car!

also seems that you should be comparing the eisen race to gintani race no? and sport to sport?

the gintani sport will be quiter and less drone than than the eisen race

also you realize on the gintani video you posted it is the full exhaust (catless gintani x pipe) and the eisen video is just the race muffler(stock x pipe)

im pretty sure the gintani race is quite a bit louder than the eis race....
the sounds are also quite distinctly different between the two brands, regardless of sport or race editions.

i just bought an eis race after looking at the gintani, both are quality units for sure. So dont feel like you are buying a piece of crap by going with gintani, it is better priced for a good piece of equipment, i think its a better value. Eisenmann is also great quality but you have to tack on the brand and the history.

talk to chris s or endofanera, they both have used races and are stand-up guys to deal with. you will get it for around the same price as the new gintani, ending the price point issue somewhat.

Do you have photos of your car with the black series? I have the Eisenmann Race Black Series on order and it should get here next week.

I've been waiting over a month though since it had to be special ordered and need something to hold me over. A picture might help... or make it worse.

If they weren't E92 systems I might be all over it. Thanks for the heads up though.

Based on what I had been reading and watching videos I was taking a guess that the Eis Race and Gintani Sport would be close in volume and drone since the Gintani seems to have a rep of being relatively loud.

Don't think so? I've heard neither in person.

I'll have to start hunting down some vendors to see what the street price is or if anyone is running a sale.

Bumping this to get updated thoughts on the two. I'm debating between Eisenmann Race or Gintani Sport. Would like to limit drone but still have a deeper aggressive tone. Let's assume "used" prices between the two were similar too.
