Mista Vanquish: Sounds like "budget" isn't a problem for you. If you're okay with the pricing on some of these, yes, a few of the above would be nice. Might want to look at that titanium Akrapovich. But if you're looking for a good look, sound and quality build, you can't beat Remus' stuff. For the price, they're unreal. When I get my M3, I'm going Remus "Race" with Fabspeed X pipes. I heard that exact combo at the Nor. Cal. / So. Cal. Euro event in Newark this past weekend. Wicked cool. Deep and low at low rev's and then when he revved it hard, it had a nice, almost straight pipe sound, but without that high pitched crackly ear splitting noise usually heard. The owner, a guy I'd say was in his 50's, said it's his D/D too. He says he can hear it, but he says it's not a bother at all. It was an '09, already had 40K mi. on the speedo. Dude's been drivin' .

Thanks for destroying the English language...

Exoting?... REALLY. CMON!

Unless you were intentionally trying to combine 'exciting' and 'exotic'.

It's throaty at idle and up to around 4-grand and then it goes into a singing, high-pitched song right up to the 8,600 rpm redline.

Although it sets off car alarms in my parking gagage, it's only 1-dB louder inside than stock at 75-mph.

Last weekend a guy was at the autocross with an '08 E92 M3 with the Dinan exhaust. No one even noticed that he had other than stock. I road in his car as instructor and did really hear anything out of that exhaust as the revs went over 4,000 rpm. Dinan isn't on the OP's list and I think rightly so for anyone looking for some sound.

AA is not the loudest, but it's one of the best compromises for someone looking for something that can be heard, but doesn't tire you on a cross country drive.
Was it the full exhaust?

Not sure why many people dont mention Remus Race, but it sounds brilliant, clean hidden look, great tips, great price! Some people think it "drones", but they obviously havent run a car with no cats and straight thru mufflers....now THAT is drone....

And we have another english professor on this forum.

Sometimes I wonder what are you English professors doing in a car forum correcting people's grammar and spelling etc.
