anyone try out these angel eyes before?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-O...cessories#shId

I'm a bit interested to see how much better the light output is with those arms at 90 degree angles. They kinda remind me of those Weisslicht (hope I spelled it right) units that Jlevi sell, except those are at a 60 degree angle?

The design looks promising, looks like the light is more focused on the optics, but I can see the LEDs they are using are very small, and could be low powered ones?

A couple of other vendors are selling the same kit under different names - lighting output isn't much better than OEM. You'll simply notice a color temperature change if any. The unit in your link shows no heatsinks, which would mean light output will deteriorate slowly as soon as heat is introduced (ambient and from the angel eye lightsource) into the headlight assembly.

Go with a reputable vendor here on the forums, a proper LED based system will keep temperatures cool and provide uniform light output, achieving a look as if this were offered by BMW directly.

Those do look like the generic LED Angel eye kits that multiple vendors are selling here on the forums. Sure, they'll do the job of changing your stock angel eyes from yellow to a white color but it definitely wont be the brightest kit available. Stick with a vendor here on the forums who you can trust!

A $20 pair of GP Thunders are brighter than those, with the same whiter color. And talking about color, there's little difference from the 7.5Ks and 8.5Ks; both look great. Their intensity if perfect for me; they're DRLs after all, not headlights .

The problem is the asymmetry of the external ring (when compared to the internal)
