P1 results, Alonso 1st, Hamilton 2nd, Kubica 3rd, Vettel 4th.
I like seeing Hamilton back near the top. Hopefully if the rain pursues into Sunday we could see a pretty interesting race. Jensen was in 6th with Sutil in 5th.

P2
Rain dried up. 1. Alonso 1m 49.032s 2. Sutil 1m 49.157s 3. Hamilton 1m 49.248s 4. Kubica 1m 49.282s 5. Massa 1m 49.588s 6. Vettel 1m 49.689s 7. Button 1m 49.755s That spread is tight. This race should absolutely blow the Hungary GP out of the water. Look at Sutil man. What a showing.

GF did quite well the last time here so hopefully Sutil can stay out of trouble and match that accomplishment. |

More than satisfied with a 2nd place start for Hamilton. Tomorrows race will be down right serious.
This was probably the 2nd most interesting qualifying of the series also. The early rain and crashes just sent all the teams into a frenzy to get dry times in. Vettel almost got caught out in Q1.

yea, this was a great qualifying session. I thought LH did a fantastic job all day, so did Button but not a great Q3. They both set great laps in Q1 so they didnt have to go back out when all the craziness went down. Then LH sets that great time in Q3, regardless of rain of turn 1, which he said cost him 0.3 sec
The start is going to be a nail bitter, both Webber and LH are very aggressive to say the least. LH shouldnt get too aggressive cause w/ the pace he can set, he should be able to overtake by pit strategy |

Btw, I hate it when they don't allocate enough TV air time to cover the press conferences. It can't be that hard to hold and extra 30 minutes and then just fill it with filler if it isn't necessary. Highlight some sponsors or something to fill it. It would be worth being able to see everything consistently.

Bad Luck for Button, but I disagree that'll be a drive-through penalty for Vettel....it was just an unfortunate racing incident, nothing more than some drivers gone wide and lost control and collects some other cars...
