Anyway to specify tire brand for order?

I understand that tire brand is typically the "flavor of the day" so you can end up with either the Conti 3 or PS2 for ZCP. However, just curious if anyone has found a way to ask for the tire brand of your choice for ED orders?

No - You get what's available in the factory on the day your car is built. You may be able to arrange a swap with your dealer if they have another car in stock with your preferred tires.

Like another post stated, it's the luck of the draw which tires go on each car. BMW wanted to have another tire available for the M3 in case Michelin ran short of tires during assembly. No doubt the Continentals came up with the lowest price that would meet BMW's specs for an M3 tire.

Like others have said, there is no way to specify

My car came from the factory with Contis and I had the dealer switch the wheels & tires with another inventory M3 so that I could have the PS2s.

i wonder if plenty of folks request that they can choose the tire, BMWNA might allow us to choose? After all, tires have substantial influence on how a car performs.
