F12/F13 6-series Interior Further Spied

We bring you the closest and clearest photos yet of the upcoming 6-series interior. The interior looks largely the same from the first interior spyshots from May, and continues to share a majority of its design and elements with the beautiful F10 5-series interior, with the major exception of the navigation screen, which is fixed like the 5-series, but not integrated into the dash.

This particular car was a convertible version.

The 2012 6-series is expected to debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Be sure to follow our 6-series related news here: http://www.bimmerpost.com/6-series

The button area for the climate controls and radio looks pretty cheap compared to the 5er. It reminds me of those aftermarket double-din display installs that people do.

It's to turn on and off the automatic engine start/stop feature.

Aha, thanks. I'd guess we won't get that in the US, since our asinine EPA doesn't think they have any benefit.

It may be just the quality of the pictures, but the 5-series looks better finished.

The new interior layout from BMW is a winner for me - sat in the F10 this weekend and I loved everything about it, very nice. I am curious about the exterior of this car - needs to scream a bit.

Looks identical to the F10 with is a good thing. I suspect the changes will be:

1) more chrome around the climate control/volume buttons
2) slight more orientation angle towards the driver
3) black panel cluster like 5GT/7
4) frame around idrive LCD like 5GT
5) possibly ceramic option like 7

other than 2 and 5, the rest can be seen on the pic above.

The nav screen is ridiculously cool, I'm assuming it drops down out of site.

It looks like they use the same HVAC and misc controls are from the 5er.

Hmmm, looks good, but at the same time it looks missing something, so I will reserve my thought for the finished product.

Akhter is right, it's a fixed display screen and won't be folding down.
