Waiting for Transport at port of Exit?
My M3 has been stuck at Port of Exit for sometime now. It was built July 22 and released for transport on 23rd... It's been out there ever since waiting for transport. I don't understand what's the delay and, or how many cars ahead of mine... 800# has been saying "awaiting transport at port of exit etc,." CA has been saying he is checking on cars everyday and nothing on my M3 yet... It is just taking so long now and not being able to track the car makes the waiting even worse
  I thought maybe someone else's M3 also waiting for transport at port of exit as of now 8/04... ? Anyone else has the same build date 7/22 or around that? Any info anyone? Please chime in

Once it gets to the port, tracking gets tricky. I recall both the phone system and the website still said Awaiting Transport the day my old 5 series arrived at the dealer...

Ok, good info, thanks... I kind of realized this long at port didn't make any sense... Will have to harrass my CA first thing tomorrow, I assume CA would know exactly where the car is? That is if it's loaded on ship?
Would 800# customer service rep would have more accurate info than automated system? Or it's all the same BS?

Thanks everyone for input,- you all were right, CA had the most accurate info. Just found out my M3 in on the boat "Fidelio" !!!
 What a beautiful boat she is!  Anyone else aboard?  My M3 got on Fidelio on 8/04 and due to arrive to NY/NJ Harbor on 18th! Even though my car has been on boat for the second day into the jorney accross the world, BMW Customer Service # still reports "awaiting transport"...
