Thanks for the very detailed info.

I will state that when I spoke to both BMW North America and BMW Canada, neither of them mentioned a charge for the letter (I considered buying my X5 in the US last fall). Both parties seemed amicable to the importation process.

do you have one on how to import a porsche...such as 997 gt3? very interested

Sorry I do not, perhaps you can check on the net and / or with The dealers.

I find that Google is a great help By typing into Google; Importing a Porsche from US to Canada" returned several results including ....
