2011 Order (performance center delivery)

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the site and owning a M3. I'll post everything from ordering the M3 to the delivery in SC at the BMW performance center.

Robo, did you by any chance order the Competition Package? I am doing a ED with a pickup date in late July, and when I log in to the BMW USA website to track my car, I don't see the Competition Package listed under my options, even though I ordered it.

Do not worry, I didn't see competition pkg either when I tracked my M3 in owner's circle yesterday. I know for sure my CA inlcuded ZCP because he input my M3 order right in front of me and gave me a printout to confirm it as well.

The BMW website is not accurate. Your dealer can get an accurate verification of options and production status.

My sales person gave me a printout of the order, and it did include all the options I had ordered, but I was just wondering about the information in the website.

Leonardo, your car looks just like mine.

Regarding where to do the tracking, you have to go the BMW USA website, and log in through My Account. In order to track your car, you have to have a production number.

The information on the website will never be right. You have to get your dealer to request a vehicle status report.

Would this report be titled: "Vehicle Inquiry Report?" This is what my dealer has been giving me, and it shows all the options in the car, as well as the Order Status among other things.
