What is the Dimsport ECU programmer exactly capable of ?

Hi,

As I read, it is able to save and restore ANY flash on our M3's ( AFAIK flashes are coded to your VIN ). 3 tunes can be stored, including the OEM one. This would imply it's able to dump the ECU's binary content and would be too good to be true for us ( switching flashes ) and for ECU-tune providers as well ( deploying their tunes ). Any opinions, any concerns ?

Community, Dinan, ESS, Evolve, Giac, Powerchip, etc., anyone ?

Thanks,
Eugen
