car is almost here! but can it really take this long??

car is on the Aida and just got this email from BMWNA. Exciting but can it really take this long at port????

BMW of North America would like to thank you for placing an order with our overseas agent. Your new BMW is currently on the AIDA vessel scheduled to arrive at Port Jersey on 05/26/2010. All vehicles must be cleared by U.S. Customs and the Department of Agriculture before they are taken to the Vehicle Distribution Center for final processing. Port processing takes approximately 4-6 weeks from date the vessel arrives.

Coordination with the Performance Center is done on a first come first serve basis. Due to the high demand of deliveries there may be a waiting period to receive an appointment. Our office will notify you of a tentative date once your vehicle has cleared U.S. customs. Please confirm that the delivery date provided works for you. You will receive final confirmation from a Performance Center representative with further information about the program.
