Lambda sensor
Since 2 weeks the engine malfunction lamp in on my dashboard. I went to BMW and they told me the lambda sensor is broke, i have a supersprint system and chip. Now the guy told me that the engine performances less because the engine switch to safe mode. Can somebody tell me howmuch power you can lose with a broken sensor ?

None. The engine should not be relying on O2 sensor readings once you go WOT. You may experience worse gas mileage and partial throttle, but full throttle you should still get all the power.

It depends on whether it's your pre cat or post cat 02 sensors. If it's your post cat it's not a huge issue. But if your pre-cat 02's are not reading correctly, it could severly throw off the fuel mixture and cause the car to run poorly.
Check to see what the specific codes are.
