It will be SSII. Build date is end July, so I won't be getting it until mid-Sep/Oct. In the meantime, I live vicariously through cars like yours.

It's a sedan (with glass roof), so it will never have quite the presence that your coupe has. I have 2 young children (4 and 2), so I need the rear doors to put in the child seats.

I plan some minor mods (Akra Evolution, AP Racing BBK, BBS FI wheels), so the car will not really stand out. At least not by the standards of this forum.

Now, should I go for polished or black tips on the Akra?

I'm going with silver FI's, and changing the grills and gills to shadow chrome to match the high gloss black Individual exterior trim. No CF anywhere.

This post shows the standard finish, as well as the polished and gloss black tips mounted on 3 different coloured cars.

Coincidentally, the polished tips appear to be on a LCI SSII E90 like mine.

There is also a CF option which is of no interest to me.
