Remus Race w/ RPI x pipe

Like the title says, I already have a Remus Race, and looking to pair it up with an x pipe (Don't care about the CEL) Someone on the board is selling his x pipe for a decent price, and I'm looking to try it out.

Anyone heard this in person? I know its gonna be loud, and drone, but that dosen't bother me. I don't want it to rasp, or sound like shit.

Thanks for your input!

I had the full RPI GT race system a couple of months ago. IMHO it was the worst sounding system ever. It sounded like a rice rocket civic and was the raspiest thing I ever heard. I took off the Xpipe the next day and just left the mufflers and it sounded fine. I do not know how it will sound with the Remus but I strongly advise you find out before you commit to doing it. good luck

I think it's going to be extremely raspy.

I have RPI X Pipe with my stock muffler and its RASPY as hell. I'm going to be pairing it up with a Gintani Sport to see how that works out.

I have the V2 X Pipe which has resonators where the primary cats used to be.

I had that exact setup it sounds like complete ass. Plus I got kicked off the track because the DB level was way too high

It sounded like a ripping chainsaw with a tinny whistle noise and no longer a V8 just a growl of like a dying monster truck engine

Talking Hey I am the dude that had Remus Race in the exhaust Video

I had Remus Race with AA X-pipe with HFC and the sound was really Awesome later on down the road I even switch to Catless pipes and the sound was still good people loved it. I am sure you would love the sound of this set up. I had both AA set ups and there was no rasp and it won't sound like ass.
