Arrow Ground Control Hybrid Camber Plates

Just wanted to post some quick pictures... more info when I get time

Facts
Two bearings (needle + spherical)
Camber and caster adjustable w/o uninstallation
Included rubber-padded upper spring perch to reduce noise
Block height for strut shaft mounting: 1.5"
2.5" ID springs only
$419

These are made to work with race springs only, hence aftermarket struts are needed.

GC does sell versions which allows the use of stock springs. (Edit: may not be the case; please check with GC to verify)

noob

Would there be any advantage to mess with the camber for a street car?

looks obviously but any real performance gains?

Not really. Any you'd have to get some coilover's to use these since you have to use 2.5" springs.

On the street, with the pin removed, one will have more than enough negative camber...

But this is for a track car

The bearing in the 1st picture looks to be installed upside down. The c-clip should be on the bottom side shouldn't it?

Should be right. The upper opening is larger vs. lower to accommodate the bearing OD and clip.

Probably, but you might as well upgrade to Club Sport which comes with camber plates and race springs.

I talked to Jay at Ground Control he told me that they didn't sell a version which allows the use of stock springs.

The only thing out there that 'll work with the stock springs are fixed camber plates from Dinan.

Are these camber plates available for the e9x M3? The link that keeps being posted in this thread is for an E36.

It's not listed because they don't have camber plates that'll work with the stock springs.

The hybrid plates are a special version of their race plates and are meant for race springs only! Regardless of whether it is for E30, 36, 46, or 92... They were never designed to work with stock springs...

Then why put out this statement?
"GC does sell versions which allows the use of stock springs."

Or say to another member that yes they make em for the E9X M3 but they're not listed on their site?

I'm going the Dinan route since I'm so happy with the stock suspension and needs just a little bit more front neg camber.

What's available and what's not is a little confusing in this thread.

1) Adjustable camber plates for the stock suspension with stock springs are not available and you would not want them since they would raise the front end significantly (per email from Jay 2 months ago).

2) Fixed camber plates available from Dinan will work with stock suspension, but then you're stuck with just that, fixed camber. Adjustable is nice in that regard. You can dial up -2.5 or -3.0 degrees in your garage without needing an alignment for track use and then dial back to -1.5 without adverse effect.

3) Ground control sells a very nice adjustable suspension upgrade with street version camber plates for the E9x M3 with your choice of aftermarket springs but retains the stock shocks especially if you want to keep EDC.

So the question is is this new hybrid type adjustable camber plate available for the E9x M3 with or without the complete suspension kit (confirmed)?
