Every vendor I've communicated with told me the delete-R is extra. Around $200 Euro, but well worth it if you don't have/want a tune.

From the poll done on this site, you will probably get a CEL w/Fabspeed regardless of their claim & advertising. Going with the full Akra w/delete-R is the route I'm planning.

Yea, well I already own the Fabspeed setup. Otherwise I'd get the deleter. Yes the Fabspeed throws a CEL sometimes, but after a couple hundred miles it clears itself so I don't worry about it. It's only happened twice to me in the winter months. Plus it cost me less that the Akra mid section. I also bought it about a year ago, when the deleter didn't work yet. But if I was to do it again, now the new deleter is out I would go full Akra.

I was offered the delete-R when I recently got the Akra mid section. It was also extra about $350 US. I didn't get it and opted for software instead but when I looked at it in the installation manual, I don't see why it wouldn't work with any exhaust system.

It also looks different than what I remember in an old thread when someone got one of the first ones. It now plugs in line, almost like an adaptor extension, to your OBD port (kinda like replacing your obd port). Plug-n-play. Whether or not it works any better than the prototype is a whole-nother story.
