The whole race thing was so poorly thought through. The "negro" and hispanic thing got reported pretty well, but there is the Asian race side that wasn't handled all that well either.

Since when "Japanese" or "Korean" was considered a race (not nationality)? By the same logic, we should also have "German", "Italian", "French", "Russian" and "Irish" as options for whites.

I don't see why they are asking about race at all.

"All men are created equal"

"Equal treatment under law"

And the list goes on...

I don't mind the count at all, I mind that they are counting based partially on skin color when it should be against the law to do so. Race should be irrelavant to the stated purposes of the census.

Hey, I sent my original, larger one back the next day. Then Saturday I got a second copy, slightly smaller. I didn't look very closely before I threw it away, is there some sort of scam to get personal info running?
