We have the Macht Schnell units in stock, you will need the euro adapter since the US/EU models now use the same airbox.

Come on, I hate to be "that guy" but....Can both of you honestly justify the performance to dollar ratio?

With the filter element - yes. The charcoal liner/gauze is very restrictive.

The same can be said about a $10K set of wheels - its is up to the end user to decide upon. While filter/airbox are minimal compared to other modifications, gains can be had.

I think its great we have options in the first place.

Agreed about the filter element as I suggested that earlier in the thread, I also agree that it's the end users option to justify spending $10k on a set of wheels or any other mod for that matter. However, I was asking the both of you to answer my question as consumers not retailers. As a consumer I feel that performance upgrades should produce gains based on the money you've invested. Right? Tom I'm sure many people on the board value your opinion especially because you are a vendor, so would you spend your money on it? Sorry about the Oh and having options is ALWAYS a good thing, that you are 100% correct about!

Ash

no problem, just put it in yesterday morning with my friends.

its eye candy for sure, i dont want to make any judgements on the alleged performance gains as supposedly the ecu may need to adapt to the change and it was also the hottest day so far that i have run the car, so it felt different already.

i will give it a few days to chill and rip it on a cool day to see if i can feel anything at all...
my buddy is supposed to take some pics, but everyone kinds know what it looks like...

Avoid AFE drop-ins. I have one and it rattles - and it's not induction noise I assure you.

No, it's from a distorted seal caused by pressure from the centering pin, letting in unfiltered air.
