lol the gross thing is i think they've been sitting in my cabinet with a bag clip on them since december. but they really don't tase that bad. it's all i have left to eat lol.

ah, it sucks when its that in between period of grocery shopping and theres nothing to eat. or drink for that matter (im in that situation at the moment)

You'd be surprised at how long these things maintain their crunch. Kinda makes you think how long they last in your body/bloodstream

yeah i only have crappy store brand water too. i need to stop being lazy and go get some shopping done. it is only across the street lol, i can see it from my window.

It's the freshness guarantee that has expired. The food is still good and probably still fresh unless it's been opened. Now if it had a date of Feb 2006, all bets are off.

Best before means exactly that. It doesn't mean "Toxic After". Most things are fine after their best by date - you just can't sue if it kills you.

Don't you people have tap water? Bottled water is about the biggest ripoff ever concieved of.

Oh, and I honestly doubt that the chips would go bad even if they were 2 years old. They may taste bad, but there's so much salt and preservatives, they'll be fine.
