Black Exhaust Tips

I was wondering if anyone knew the part # for the black exhaust tips on the "edition" m3 ... could those be ordered and put on a regular m3? TIA

...might be easier (read as: cheaper) than the alternative:

you can remove the rivets and paint them then rivet them back on

ahlan beek! thats a good call - thinkin about it... but you need an airbrush or spray gun... this could be a project.

I was under the impression that US dealers couldn't order Edition parts because the Edition M3 was never released here.

Anyway you could measure what the diameter of the end that you rivet it? Im trying to find some straight cut stainless pipes, but dont know what size to look for.

They're listed at $25 a piece (you would need 4). I placed an order through Irvine BMW parts. Although he did place the order, he warned me that his computer had shown 0 delivered through the US bmw dealer network. Perhaps, no one in the US had ordered them (or at least received delivery) at that point? Either way, he told me it would be about 4 to 8 weeks.

They're not nearly 'identical' man

. Those are single-wall with rolled tip, vs stock's double-walled. And stockers will have a much better finish for sure. Plus I bet are made of better material, and probably thicker as well.
An owner told me those Chinese-made ones just have the first 2" nicely finished. Not a big deal to most, but worth mentioning. The main difference between the 2 is the angle, which I don't personally like. Otherwise a nice alternative, I guess.
