Can you negotiate the price even though you are pre-ordering the 2011?

Just wondering if the dealers are negotiating with the price even though you are pre-ordering the car? Is it better just to negotiate a car that has been sitting at their lot for a while?

Of course they are negotiating with the 2011 orders. Did you see this thread?
