Damn, I must say I'm surprised how many people in their teens and very early twenties have M3's. I'd hate to see their insurance rates.

I got my E46 M3 when I was 23 and I couldn't believe the amount I paid for insurance. It was like paying for two cars.

thats exactly where i pictured it to be. it seems affordable 26-30 age groups...but thats sick to the 16-25 group who own the cars.. and some of the sicker cars on this forum are in that age group.. cant wait to join that stat..

Very much so. I think this is a merged thread, so it is no longer sticking to the title, "Age of people who have PURCHASED their M3." To those 16-24 yr olds who have purchased their M3's on their own, congrats, you must be doing something right.

It's ridiculous isn't it? I almost bought a '96 M3 when I was 22, but the insurance and interest rate were much higher than the new '03 WRX I ended up buying.
