Kia Ray Concept @ Chicago Autoshow

Just wanted to share some pix of this Kia concept car I just finished working on.

Its basically a design exercise for a vision of a future dedicated plug-in electric hybrid vehicle. It's aimed at competing with a Prius or Nissan Leaf. I am on the exterior design team.

In the last pic, fourth from the right with the glasses, that's ze german Peter Schreyer former chief of design at VW/Audi, now the "head" of Kia.

If you're in Chicago check it out at the Kia booth. (back by the Audi/BMW stand)

I think that's a badass concept. But concepts always look very cool.

But yeah Kia's design team is on a roll.
