It's only the 3rd iteration of one of the most epic online battle games EVER.

I'm not one that tends to get wrapped up in video games, but Diablo II took over my life for like 5 months. It was horrible, yet so beautiful.

It is the most antisipated and follow up to possibly THE GREATEST pc game of all times. It's your basic mouse smashing hack and slash that took it to a whole new level with character customization, online gameplay, and trading - which you see in most modern games (ie. WoW). Diablo 2 sells for like $5 now, give it a shot and you will see what you missed out on for the last 9 years.

Anyone else severely disappointed with the crappy WoW-like graphics?

I want D3 to look more like the 2nd, realistic and gritty, not kiddy.

Makes me hate that piece of shit game WoW even more.

I just looked at the Diablo website. The 5th class came out, a Demon Hunter. It's a ranged character, which I always figured the 5th would be. Sweet. Now just waiting for it to come out...

Nothing yet. Maybe late 2011 if we're lucky. I'd be interested to hear when the next SC expansion will come out. Obviously they arn't going to release them within 6 months of each other (I'd assume). I would guess one late 2011, other summer 2012? Who knows, pure speculation.

At BlizzCon 2010 they said they are about 50% done with their production of the game.

Most people interpreted this as a 2012 aimed release date.
