Nice job doba_s. My co-worker was there in a '87 blue M6. It sold out the day I found out about it so I missed it. I did sign up for the May 26th Laguna DS. Maybe I'll see you there...

An instructor, about 4 sessions at 20 minutes each, and a t shirt.
Some other groups run 150 a day but may not have an instructor.

You need to be part of an organization to rent the track out. They don't have open session like at the Ring. I don't know of any track in the US that has open sessions. Each organization has to have their own insurance, and that's the main reason. You also have to have the car tech inspected before an event. We American's like to sue people, so we don't get open track days.
Laguna Seca is one of the most expensive tracks to rent in Cali, and I'd assume it's pretty expensive even nationally. It's known around the World and in a beautiful and RICH area.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
