Anyone pick up an 09 within the last month?

Just trying to see what deals are being offered right now. I was quoted $2,500 over invoice which seems steep to me.

If you know of a specific dealership/sales agent offering a killer deal, let me know.

Try Steve Hill at Stevens Creek. Not saying he is offering "killer" deals but he has always more than taken care of me.

I'll probably give him a call. Been trying to avoid Stevens Creek though. Dealt with them before and they never seemed to be able to cut deals like other places.

Was quoted multiple times $500 over invoice...beginning of sept. just before 2010 models came in. Found '09's at that time on dealer web sites looking at online inventories, about a dozen w/ DCT, maybe 20 manual shift.

I would imagine most are gone, but you should be able to get a similar deal as the car is now a year old. Just gotta find it on your own and ask. Best to do over the phone.

I paid invoice for mine from bmwsonline.com back in June, and had an offer from the dealer in Calabasas for $1500 over invoice back then. Seeing as how the 2009 is now last year's model, you are getting ripped off if you pay anything over invoice. They are giving the dealers a $4,500 cash incentive to clear out their 2009 models. Check Edmunds.com.

Yeah, Edmunds shows TMV at $3k below invoice. I told the sales agent and he said he can't go below invoice and asked what I thought was fair. There is no way I was going to give in to $2,500 over invoice.

He is probably lying. Let him know you will find another dealer that will take your money. I bet he calls you back with a better offer (although I probably still wouldn't buy from the guy.

I got mine 11/29 from Will Shaw at Long Beach BMW, $500 over invoice.

LOL! For real?? They have always hooked me up.......nothing even close to invoice. Don't go thinking invoice is a deal. Dealers can go much lower in this economy.
