Tire width etc.
Headlights and grill look exactly like 335i. Nothing there is particularly new nor exciting. However the rear tire width (esp. note last picture) looks wiiiiide to me. Using p-chop and scaling with the rear shot of the grey car I only calculated exactly a 265 rear tire width (using 520mm for the license plate width!). However, the rear tires in the last picture definitely look wider than 265 to me. Off angle shots are too error prone for using scaling estimate though. Also these (and many recent spy shots) show a single exhaust canister, not like the double cans on the M5. I thought we would get double cans.

I would have thought the fender flares would have been bigger. Regardless, I can't wait to see the specs on it. It's going to be a beast for sure.

Maybe it's me but I'm not convinced that the sedan will have the same grill as the coupe. Looks to me like the sedan's grill from these pics (only one front end pic of a sedan which is all taped up) could have the same shape and thicker upper crome trim as the current E90. Hope not, but it's quite possible!

Exhaust
I'm sure that's an effort to save weight. I'm guessing they're looking everywhere possible to save weight. I wonder if we'll even get the seatbelt presenters on the M?

I wondered the same
The moment I saw them in the 335i I test drove I was wondering the same thing. They should levae them off as the motors, switches and wiring are not exactly light. At the same time I guess I would not complain if they are present. The longish, twisting reach around in my E36 is kind of annoying.
