Although possibly futile, I am making final attempts to reach a resolution with the seller, simply based on his age.
I can understand young people makes careless mistakes. I hope he would take responsibility for his own action and not elevate this further to make this mistake incorrectable.

IMO youre lucky you got anything. I had to fight to get my refund on something that he didnt ship (the link to my problem was posted on page 1 or 2). I stand behind everything I said in my post. He seemed like an honest guy both via phone, pm and email. My problem was the lack of communication and shady excuses.
You at least are getting a straight answer with him saying he will NOT refund your money.
IMO you were mis-lead, I cant decide if it is his fault for wording his ad the way he did, or yours for not drilling him with questions before you bought. I believe we are all enthousiasts here and should all be making an honest effort to help each other out and not sell products with mis-leading descriptions, so for that I blame Golan.
I believe since this system is "such a good deal" at a grand shipped that the purchase price minus shipping should be refunded once the system is shipped back to Golan.

As I said in my post, my problem with Golan was resolved, but it was a headache and I really did not think I was going to get my money back at all. I researched him a little on the boards before I bought and given his previous track record I was comfortable buying from him.
Looks like this is the third person he has had shady dealings with: the OP, the guy who posted about the KW V1 and myself. My advise to Golan is to stop selling things on here, its not going well for you. Your two sets of wheels will likely not sell, not after this post and the others out there.
And my advise to anyone looking to buy from him. If it needs to be shipped, do not buy. If you can pick it up, knock yourself out.

i too, had researched imballin2day before i made the purchase.
i felt somewhat relieved and made the purchase from him after reading your previous posts regarding the transaction you had with him, after all, you posted messages which cleared his name.

imballin2day has insisted that he is selling me a full headerback system (see page 1 with his PM) after i have asked him all the questions a buyer should have asked.

2 months after i paid him, he sent me a catback exhaust with chopped mufflers and stopped all communications.

catch, if you know anymore info on him that can help me thru the legal process, please let me know.

Im not willing to give a refund because a refund is not deserved. You had the right to a refund and I gave you one. If I was a "scammer" I would have NEVER given you one but I did. The shipping to get you the wheel was too much and paypal messed up the first refund as you saw I requested one. I cannot be more clear that a refund here is not necessary at all. I cannot believe how many gullible people there are here. Everyone believes everything they hear its pretty funny. Im gonna go now and go drive my Ferrari on the track I have in my backyard. You guys should believe that too.

And Edit: Theres a reason why BOTH of my wheel threads now say LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I don't want to have to deal with whiners. Come take a look at them, if you like them fine, if you don't thats cool. My shipping days are OVER.

imballin2day, please read my post carefully as i have repeatedly pointed out the reason i am asking for my refund and it is not because of the way the exhaust look.

Just think, if i do not like the way the exhaust look, why would i bother to even take this exhaust to muffler shops trying to fit it without cutting my own system? dont you think i would have seen the system already?

imballin3day, please read your own PM (your own word). did you not sold me a headerback exhaust system?

like i have told you before, I am buying a headerback exhaust system so i do not have to cut my OEM system and puzzle all the pieces together. otherwise, why would i repeatedly ask you if this is a headerback system that many times?

now you are forcing me to put your muffler pieces together, cut my OEM exhaust and weld on your 'catback' exhaust or you will not give me a refund?

i know you can be reasoned if you are willing to. just think how you would feel if you were in my shoes?

legal issue is the last resort, of course, you can always call this as a bluff if you want to.

my sincerity and my patience still would like to resolve this peacefully. like i said, you can still choose to do the right thing and not disappoint us.

i will cover for the shipping back. do not worry, for whatever reason it is, fedex only charge me <$100 to ship it. i obviously had already considered if the shipping cost outweigh the exhaust itself but it turned out not to be the case.

It seems to me the problem is "Ballin" doesn't know very much about the technical aspects of cars and various parts. I tried to help him once, when "his friend installed a set of used spacers" on his car (with an impact gun), and the wheels were wobbling so bad, it was visible. He had trouble understanding what I was trying to tell him, when he asked for help on this forum.

I'm wondering if he understood what you were asking when you asked him if it was "header-back" (actually it's an exhaust manifold) OEM, cat-delete, full-system you were looking for, if I'm understanding you correctly.

"Ballin" may have thought he was representing it correctly, but he had no idea what he was talking about.
