You might change your mind when you've felt that terrible turbo lag....

and that auto 'box.... it always kicks down half a sec too late, although I've never tried the sport bottom yet.

zenderm3, I hope it all works well for the reflash.

Must admit I've not considered any turbo lag. I did not find it noticable in the 135i so I guess I've been spoilt. I may have to take an X6xdrive50i for a drive next time I'm at the dealer.

Hmmm... I think the 'box plays a part in the laggy feel. This is my first time with a turbo car and first time with an auto. I might be a little confused about turbo lag and delayed gear changes.

x6 - couple of things - first of all 2010 maps are out. So if you don't have the latest update (tell them to give it to you).

Second of all - the "function currently not available" is apparrently a bug with a fix that should be available early next year. I was told that late January we should be good (although I'm guessing the reality is that we won't see it before February!)

By that time - break in will be over! And then Driver Training...

That's great. Thanks for the info. I'll be checking in in Jan.

AMK -Do you have the 2010 Maps? Whatever the problem we seem to have - we have to wait until the update comes out....

No - I still have version 12. I take it you're not getting a response to the "destination input" verbal command?

Are the rest of your voice recognition commands OK?

AMK - So far so good - although I'm still getting used to having the capability to use the voice based system (coming from a honda accord euro!)

It's a nice feature but to be honest I hardly use it and just twiddle the knob instead!

BTW - I've found the commands "Warp 5", "Make it so" and "Computer - damage report!" don't work.....

They should go into the suggestion box.... bloody germans don't have a sense of humour.

BTW AMK - It is Warp 10.... And have you tried - Engage

Sorry you're right - warp 10 it is...mind you it depends on how old your dilithium crystals are.

Actually, "Engage" doesn't work either! I'll see if Seven of Nine can program it in....

Neither unfortunately though I'd seriously consider turning Borg for the opportunity . Resistance is futile!
