Advice on pricing

Hello forum,

I am looking at a 2008 e92 stickshift with 19 inch wheels, tech package, CF roof. It has 30,000 miles. Dealer is asking $48,000. What would be a fair price on this car?
Thank you for your help.

It is not CPO. The dealer said it could be done but would add 3-4,000 to the price.

48k isnt good. the car has 30,000 miles he needs to offer 40k and then work his way up.

I thought 48 was a little steep considering the high mileage. Should I be concerned that the car has that many miles and isn't CPO?

this is what i did

I found the invoce price on edmunds.com. They let you configure the vehicle same as bmwusa.com. I added 500 to that invoice price. Sent out the offer to my local dealers in the area ( San francisco ). I got mine

I got a quote for a custom order 2010 for 65500 but there is no special 2.9% financing for 2010s so I went with the 09
