RE 12mm spacers with stock EDC suspensions

Rogue Engineering 12mm F/R spacers installed. Looks are very aggressive and I don't know whether lowering the car will complement the current looks.

Has anyone with spacers experience excessive or unusual tyre wear? That's my biggest concern although I have taken the plunge and installed the spacers.

My personal taste is if you're using stock wheels and spacers, then lower it. I find it looks like it's sticking out too much when it's not lowered.

I have the same RE 12MM F&R spacers installed on my otherwise completely OEM car. They've been there for 6K miles, and tire wear is completely even, there is no vibration, or any other issue. I think 12mm x 4 is the perfect look look, without going overboard.

Same here- just about the same miles with the RE 12mm spacers. No issues.

I've got the RE spacer with 15 and 12 on EDC going on 5,000 miles now. No problems whatsoever. People who don't know much about the M3 ask me if I had it dropped with the way it looks.

Well, they would have to. They're altering the geometry of the track. And they also putt slightly more stress on wheel bearings.

But I have the feeling that their impact on wheel bearing life is just as miniscule their its impact on handling.

To be honest I haven't put a lot of m/km since the spacers were installed last weekend. In fact the short drive I had to our Show n Shine, I could feel any difference whatsoever. Same old fluid and accurate turning. Time will only tell as to how much wear of others, especially tyres. I have been assured by other forum members that I shouldn't suffer excessive wear.

I've put 33,000 miles on my 2009 e90 with 12mm spacers on it since day one. It's been tracked a few times and driven through an Oswego NY winter. No problems. Make sure the hub is clean and that you put a VERY small amount of Never-seize on the id of the spacer center bore when you install them.
