How do you get traffic information in our nav in canada?

I read from the manual and also in other threads in this forum that you can get traffic information in m3's nav. How to do this??

I just noticed yesterday that google maps has started offering traffic info in Canada, maybe we'll get an update for our cars soon. If not I'll have to use my blackberry and google maps for that info.

Hi, i was reading the manual and i think you need to able to
receive a traffic radio station before you can activate that option.

i have gone through Sirius Canada radio stations and couldn't find a traffic radio station.

There are quite a few on the US side.

So until you can receive a traffic reporting radio station in your local area...you are beat.

The good new is...sending a google map search to your BMW navigation works.
