Woman crashed into my benzo...

I was on the freeway today, stopped in traffic, when a woman, behind the car behind me, doesn't stop in time and quickly swerves to the right. I didn't think anything of it; however, I guess she was going too fast when she swerved, lost traction and did a 360 into my rear passenger door

CHP gets us off the freeway, and the woman is on her cell phone while the CHP officer is talking to us... seriously?!

Anyway, just wanted to vent and show the carnage...

Exactly, that's how I feel now. It happened, oh well, nothing I can do about it. Hopefully I can get it into the shop today.

Bummer. At least your ok, and the damage could of been worse.

You should of told her to get off the phone when the policeman was talking. Thats thing was probably the reason she hit you in the first place.

Bah! Other drivers annoy me with their horrible skills. I'm an insurance agent and see these things happen constantly.

Is that a CLS? Quite a nice ride.

Bummer is right. But the door crumpled just right, deformed like it should. Safe cars.

About 2 months ago a guy on a Harley was splitting lanes and actually fell right into the side of my E63. LOL. Put a nice dent and gouge in the passenger front door.

He was cool and paid for everything; I took it to the most expensive body shop in LA (Avio Piombetti who does exotics, RRs, etc..)

btw, if anybody gets hit by an idiot out there and you think they were on their cell phone, get a lawyer to subpoena the person's cell records. They'll list the time, etc.. My neighbor's friend collected big time when he got hit by someone on a cell phone.....
