Question Flocked Dash?

Has anyone thought about having their dash flocked? Might look cool, might not.

I googled it:

Flocking is the process of depositing many small fiber particles (called flock) onto a surface. It can also refer to the texture produced by the process, or to any material used primarily for its flocked surface. Flocking of an article can be performed for the purpose of increasing its value in terms of the tactile sensation, aesthetics, color and appearance. It can also be performed for functional reasons including insulation, slip-or-grip friction, and low reflectivity.

Flocking is done to rally and DTM cars to reduce the reflectivity of the dashboard, but it looks cool IRL.

Not on an M3. Maybe an EVO or STI.

Apart from the definition provided, think of the fuzzy trim around window/door trim. I cannot imagine doing this to my dash...

If this is cool, then I'm gluing dirt on my Subaru so it looks racy.

if you're looking to do something to your dash to reduce glare coming in, just get it wrapped in alcantara. i believe there's a guy on here from italy that had it done to his M3. it came out looking amazing.
