Back on topic.

Has anyone talked to a Service Advisor about this? Since random, it is hard to reproduce so this may be a tricky issue.

I have not, but I'll try next time I'm at the dealership.

I've had something similar happen. It's infrequent, but strange. When I'm in M mode (usually for a little fun on the highway), I have it set to the max -- max power, sports plus steering, max manual shift program (have DCT). It's a blast. Sometimes, when I turn off M mode, the Power button stays illuminated. EDC returns to comfort (both indicator lights off), and the shift program returns to D-3 (my normal setting) but the Power button stays illuminated. Thinking it's a glitch, I drop back into M mode for a bit, then turn it off... the Power button stays illuminated. Even when I manually tap the Power button (thinking it'll toggle on and off like it's supposed to) it stays illuminated. The only way to get it to go off is to turn off the car then start it again.

It's only happened two or three times since I've owned the car. I use the same key every day, so I'm certain it's not that. Unless somehow the car encountered some sort of error when reading my settings from the key. The first time it happened, I had my maintenance guy at the dealership inspect -- found nothing out of the ordinary. Weird!

Yesterday, my power button came on and would not go off, even after stopping engine and removing fob. Even though the power light was on the throttle didn't feel like power mode was actually engaged. It was wierd and annoying.
After I parked at home and left the car for about 20 mins, the issue went away.
I'm def.going to ping the dealer about this.

Exact same thing happened to me this morning. 1500 miles.
