RPI Scoops and AA Filter Install
Just put in the RPI Scoops and dropped in a AA filter, i must say there is a differance. The scoops fit like a glove, i am happy with the purchase. Guys at RPI did a nice job, they look great. It was a good buy i must say. Here are some pix that i took.

Thanks for sharing pictures but if you can, can you take some more pictures in distance?
I have AW as well and thinking about getting red one just like yours but I wonder how it looks in everyday life. Thanks again for sharing!

Yep, I purchased my first BMW (325e) from Peter Pan in San Mateo, CA in 1986.

Since it's near San Francisco I'd think it would be named Tinkerbell BMW, not Peter Pan.

I have the red scoops and they look pretty cool with my AW during the day. performance wise, I haven't noticed any difference at any speeds, but my butt dyno isn't very sensitive.
As for fitment, i had to bend the tab to sit flush so it wasn't 100% fitment.

I have the red too... look pretty cool when they peek out from under the cf grills. Did you notice a good gain from the air filter ? Considering picking one up.

I might get these...just because there is a slight increase which will compliment the rest of the system...we'll see. Maybe a nice xmas present from the missus.

Yes unfortunatly there is a dealership called Peter Pan BMW LOL yea i am not to happy of the name but it's all good. I don't ever go there, to far to go for service, BMW of San Francisco is a lot closer for me.
I am very happy with the scoops the way they look and that they actually function that is combined with AA filter, i've noticed a difference. They wouldn't void any warrenty, your just directing more air into the intake that's all.

Does anyone notice a little lost fitment of the scoops after install? I am about to install mine and noticed that the double sided tape and screws might not be enough to secure it very tightly. It might be just fine but it seems like there is a little room for wobble?
any input? |
