The funny thing is that we CAN and we DO. Which in turn shows how much of a bargain this system would be, materials alone!

Create a product which addresses your the points raised and it will sell. At the $1000+ price point, it will be specialty product (look at how many GruppeM intakes have sold - at this price point, it's about bling).

If you can price it at a good $/hp threshold relative to our other choices such as pulley's, etc... (check PG's sticky threads), then it will sell lots. Only you have the performance and costing information to determine which market to target.

I would want the CF hood scoop without the rest of the system. I hope you can make available the different components of the system. There are M3 owners that already have CF air box and no CF hood scoop.

Enough with the carbon fiber! It's like the chrome madness all over again. Bottom line is simple: make it cheap and make it good. If I had any inclination of blinging out a M3 I would shoot myself in the head first. If I missed I'd buy an Escalade instead.

Hope the intake has the option to include scoops (priced higher) or no scoops (lower) so people with RPi scoops can keep them. Also I hope it isn't $1,000 as that is still ridiculous for an intake. Also, ditch the CF as not all of us want to spend over 1k on bling we can't see unless we pop our hoods.

I agree, ditch the CF and just make a solid CAI. Chrome dont get you home and CF doesnt always make you faster!!!

Thanks guys for all of this. All of it is great input, and there's no better way making what you want, to an extent, then by asking!
