How easy/hard is it to adjust KW V3 damper settings?

I've looked and I can't seem to find any pictures of the adjustment knobs for the V3 damper settings. Can anyone post up pics of the knobs or describe their location and adjustment procedures? Thanks.

well you will have to get to the bottom and top of each shock... so reach under your car on each corner...

and pull off trunk lining inside to get to top of rears.. the top of the fronts are the easiest...


most the adjustments are done with a tiny little allen key...

i wouldnt call it hard but i wouldnt call it easy.... but time consuming sure.. and sometimes you have to be carefull turning it the right way..

yep, I agree too...to really change the settings it is better u leave everything open ( all the carpets removed ) than adjust, test drive, adjust, until u are happy, it took me a while to find the right one for me

thanks guys! one more question, do these have detent clicks for adjustment? i've had koni single adjustables on my e46 m3 and they didn't have clicks.

Yeah both top and bottom have clicks in adjustment range. I usually only adjust at the track to my track settings and than back to my street settings

I think its really easy to adjust. I hated how on my TCK Koni dampers you sort of have to guess and count turns to adjust

As for the rear I don't remove the trunk lining, I made holes in the carpet and covered with rubber plugs which looks OEM

Sorry didn't realize this thread was bumped, but funny thing is those plugs are on top of the EDC module over the strut stock

So just remove those and cut the holes in the carpet to fit an OEM part

Thanks, my non edc car had the plugs too. They worked perfectly on my install too! I owe you a beer.

Mr Harris, the part we are talking about is the rubber piece that is on the top of the stock shock. You just pull it off and re-purpose it

+1, seriously thinking about buying these, but not sure if it's worth it over H&R springs since I only track the car about 2 times a year. I do drive aggressive on the streets though.

I wish I knew about this before I took mine apart a few times just to adjust the height. Simple c-clamp looks like it would do the job.
