Stock PS2 Treadwear

How Many kms can you expect to get out of stock 19" Ps2s with conservative driving (no tracking and not breaking them loose on dry pavement)?

Im sure the answer is already posted here somewhere, but I couldnt find it with a basic search.

I am at 25,000km and I forsee I will need a change after 5,000km.

I have tracked the M3 twise, I drive it as fast as possible in the street but no rear tyre smoking, although plenty of back end dancing (usually in MDM). Road surface quality is 60% slipery here (i.e. rear end breaking loose easily without much tyre wear) 30% good traction and 10% excellent.

Garage List
13k +/- miles on a set of rears... Down to wear bars.

Could have milked more miles, but one got a puncture at the shoulder and I chucked the pair.

Correct!I have only used the PS2's on track once and that was a very wet day. They were awesome in those conditions and they rounded in the shoulders quite a bit after 2 hours of use.

Dad goes through a set every 20,000 miles on his CLS 63. Between his old 55 and this new 63 he's gone through 7 sets in the last 3 years

I know this isn't a PS2, but I have 6.5k on my invo's(260 tread wear rating) with about 20-25% tread remaining until they are bald.

As mentioned its how you drive and how much TQ you got... my CL65 tore thru my PS2's but it had almost 800 lb/ft of TQ.

My 997TT has 12k miles and the PS2's are almost done. I think 10-15k is fair based on driving habits and TQ.

I have 16K on mine with 4 track days (one of those in the wet). I'll probably get another 5K out of mine. I don't drive them too hard on the steet, but I do on the track.

This sounds a bit more reasonable!

I think leaving traction control on full the whole time on the street really saves your tires, I drive fairly hard, but the traction system keeps me from spinning my tires quite often!

11,000 miles. Trying to make my last 1/32 of tread last until my RACs come in.
