Eibachs Prokit on e90 M3 - Install and Review

Based on photos and reviews of other board members I purchased an Eibach Prokit from Tirerack. I ordered them online and it only took a couple of days to receive them. I decided to install the springs myself last Sunday using the DIYs posted on this site. Even though I was able to use my friends rack, the install took about 6hrs. I was being very careful and deliberate! I would say this could be done in 3-4hrs with no breaks.

I took measurements last Sunday and today after the alignment.

Before:
Right Rear 26.63"
Right Front 26.69"
Left Front 26.63"
Left Rear 26.69"

After 5 days and an alignment:
Right Rear 26.13"
Right Front 26.06"
Left Front 26.00"
Left Rear 26.06"

I took the M to SoulSpeed in Austin for an alignment this morning. The specs are below. They maxed the front camber so I will need camber plates if I deem more is needed.

I have not had a chance to really "test" this setup yet. It just feels perfect for everyday driving and the EDC modes seem more pronounced. Unfortunately, I won't get any track time until Sept 25th. Overall it cost about $460 for the springs, alignment, shipping and tax and I'm very happy with the results.

Is it comfortable? How does it feel when hitting a bump on the freeway at 80mph? Unstable? Or just like stock?

Not trying to be a smart ass but what is 26 10/16"? Do you mean 26 9/16" or 26 5/8"? 26 2/16", is 26 1/8"?

A bit of topic but since we are waiting for the pics (), does anyone know what are the stock alignment specs?

Is very comfortable and it seems more stable than stock. I drive on the highway a lot and in comfort mode I can't really tell a difference at all. In normal and sport modes the dampening seems better matched to the new springs. Body roll is reduced in all modes. The one thing I didn't expect is that the steering seems more crisp and sensitive. Overall I don't have any complaints.

Sorry I took notations on my iPhone and they were not too clear. The 26" 10/16 example is 26 5/8". I have converted to decimal to make it more clear.

This is definately a worthy upgrade having fitted quite a few cars with these springs.
It's also very well thought out by Eibach by not attempting to lower the vehicle too much (for reasons concerning suspension travel) but actually trying to improve the way the car drives.
