Even the exhaust butterflies on Astons are tuned to open only after ~4K rpm so that you can roam around town in relative silence.
A little birdy told me, if you remove fuse 22 or fuse 23 in the Vantage, the exhaust butterflies remain open over the entire range of rpm

How 'bout this. They're spectacular without being flamboyant.

Ok guys sorry to drop this bomb on you but don't even think about buying an AM, everyone I know that has had one... including my brother has had nothing but trouble. The thing was always in the workshop having either electrical or mechanical issues.
To cut a long story short, it's a good looking car that is actually a pile of shyte!

Your brother's experience is not unusual, this seems to be the norm with hand-built cars like the Aston. It's one of the reasons why I would choose an Audi R8 (if I was in the market for such a car) before picking a Gallardo, F430 or anything else other than of German branding.

The surprise is that most of the parts (electrical wise) come from Jaguar which ARE very reliable, same about a lot of the mechanicals. Don't figure.

am I the only one that think the m3 coupe is better looking than the vantage?
