Anyone Stock Without Resonators?

I'm finally having my cutouts welded in on wednesday and I'm thinking of having the shop cut out the resonators and run some straight pipe while they're in there. Has anyone done this with a stock muffler? How does/would it sound?

I would do the cats before the resonators. There are some vid here of a stock exhaust with secondary cats and resonators out.

I would delete secondary cats. They will free up some power and give you a more aggressive slightly louder sound. The resonators should remain in this car since they are there for tone and to eliminate the raspy sound inherent in this engine.

The O2 sensors are before and after the first set of cats only. It'll probably still pass smog with the second cats cut out.

thks for the info, so for someone looking for a better sound and no errors isnt cutting out the secondary cats a no brainer? are there any downsides...? approximate power gains?
